Lotus

This was my first attempt at drawing a lotus flower. I actually drew it twice. The first one is in black and grey but I drew it again to play with some color. During this piece I learned more about color blending and proper placement of colored highlights and low-lights. I used a mechanical pencil, a .25 black micron marker, a .50 black micron, and crayola colored pencils. This took me about three and a half hours to complete.
