Thanks ^.^ The easiest and best way to become a tattoo artist is to get an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop. Go in one day and ask about apprenticeship openings and what you have to do/pay to get one. Most tattoo artists will be more than happy to explain the process you'll have to go through. An apprenticeship is tough and very different from traditional schooling since tattooing belongs to the counter-culture, but well worth the blood and sweat put into it. I can't wait to apprentice. I'm still in high school though, so right now I just spend my free time drawing and hanging out in tattoo shops

Tattooing and the culture that surrounds it just excites and intrigues me so much, I would do anything to be involved in it
